This course offers an introduction to machine safety and focuses on the requirements of the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC on the placing on the market of machinery and partly completed machinery. The Machinery Directive is the most important safety provision to be complied with when manufacturing machines. How to implement the essential health and safety requirements is shown in an overview of the most important fundamental standards. Topics: ?
